Visit the key pilgrimage sites across India and Nepal — from Lumbini, his birthplace, to Bodhgaya where he attained enlightenment, Sarnath where he gave his first sermon, and Kushinagar where he entered Mahaparinirvana. Discover ancient monasteries, stupas, and serene temples that reflect the legacy of one of the world’s greatest spiritual leaders.
Overview
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive in India’s capital. Warm welcome and hotel transfer. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi – Varanasi
Fly to Varanasi. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony on the banks of the sacred river.
Day 03:Varanasi – Bodhgaya
Morning boat ride on the Ganges and visit to Sarnath, the site of Buddha’s first sermon. Later, travel to Bodhgaya.
Day 04: Bodhgaya – Nalanda – Rajgir
Visit the Mahabodhi Temple and sacred Bodhi Tree. Continue to explore the ruins of Nalanda University and the spiritual sites of Rajgir.
Day 05: Rajgir – Vaishali
Visit Gridhakuta Hill and Venuvan in Rajgir. Travel onward to Vaishali, where Buddha gave his last sermon.
Day 06: Vaishali – Kesariya – Kushinagar
Stop at the impressive Kesariya Stupa before reaching Kushinagar, where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana.
Day 07: Kushinagar – Lumbini
Visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple and cremation stupa. Cross the border into Nepal and proceed to Lumbini, Buddha’s birthplace.
Day 08: Lumbini – Sravasti
Explore Lumbini’s Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, and monastic zone. Later, drive to Sravasti, where Buddha spent many monastic retreats.
Day 09: Sravasti – Lucknow
Visit Jetavana Monastery and the Ananda Bodhi Tree before heading to Lucknow for overnight stay.
Day 10: Lucknow – Sankisa – Agra
Travel to Sankisa, where Buddha is believed to have descended from heaven. Continue to Agra.
Day 11: Agra – Delhi (Flight)
Morning visit to the iconic Taj Mahal. Return to Delhi to catch your international flight.
Day 12: Arrive Home
Arrive back home with spiritual memories and a deeper connection to the Buddha’s path.
